Projects by the Cherepovets branch, June-July 2012

1. Expansion of Krasnodar TPP with an additional CCGT unit.

Cable inlet system – enhancement work underway (110 kV).

Construction/installation of a unified cable bridge, installation of a 110 kV shunt running from an automated transformer (“ZAT”) to the OSG of unit 3 (110 kV). Construction work on the foundation area of units 14/15, cable laying, installation of relay racks and panels.

2. OAO “Severstal," coke-chemical production. Reconstruction of the filtering unit.
Construction/installation work:

• 26M1 package transformer substation;
• lighting systems for gas coolers inside the filtering unit;
• control boards for the coke gas filtering systems;

3. Expansion of TPP (functioning, owned by “GSR TPP”) with two extra OSG power units (110 MW each). Construction of unit 1 (110 MW).

Additional construction work:

• Power equipment for an overhead crane in the SF6 building (110 kV);
• Power cells at the SF6 unit (110 kV);

Work underway:

• Indoor grounding grid at the main unit and SF6 unit (110 kV), outdoor grounding grid for the SF6 unit (110 kV);
• Preparation for and further installation of several power transformers;
• Cable metalwork constructions at the SF6 unit;
• Installation of a unipotential grid at the main and SF6 units.

4. Setup of a fourth power unit at the Cherepovets GRES (steam-engine based), unit 4 (steamgas unit 420). SF6 unit (220 kV, located in Kadui township, Vologda Region).

Construction work on the foundation area and waterproofing thereof – for a new SF6 unit. Preparation work around the foundation area for further cable laying/wiring within the SF6 unit.

Currently working on setting up temporary power equipment for an overhead crane to operate in the main building, arranging a screen grid underneath the foundation plates of the main building, and setting up an overall temporary 0,4 kV power feed.

5. Repair work at the OSG equipment of Konakovskaya GRES (belongs to OAO “Enel OGK-5.”)

Work underway: complete overhaul of VVM-330 kV breakers.

6. Renovation of overhead transmission lines “Energy 3” (220 kV), Poshekhonye – Cherepovets (220 kV) and at the “Pervomayskaya” substation (part of the grid is tapped into that of the "Belozerskaya" substation), and renovation of OSG equipment at the RPP-1 substation (220 kV).

Current work involves installation of some SF6 equipment (220 kV), cable metalwork constructions, and setup of several auxiliary transformers.
